Fresh and Healthy Orange Julius {Gluten Free}

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Oranges, peels removed
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 8 ounces Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
  • a splash of vanilla
  • couple handfuls of ice

Method
 

  1. Poor 8 ounces of almond milk into a high-powered blender.
  2. Slice peels off oranges, add to blender along with all other ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add more ice if you prefer your smoothie thicker sometimes I'll add some extra fresh squeezed orange juice. If it needs to have more orange flavor.
  5. Pour into four large glasses and enjoy.
  6. Lately, we've been adding two scoops of vanilla protein powder, and one scoop of greens powder to make the smoothie extra nutritious

Notes

A high-powered blender like this one here is a must for blending up the dates.
