Orange Julius Protein Shake {Gluten Free}

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges, peels removed, quartered
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1 cup milk of your choice, I like 1/2 cup each of almond and coconut milk, or 1 cup of cashew milk (all unsweetened)
  • 1/4 fresh squeezed orange juice, optional (but I always do!)
  • a splash of vanilla
  • 1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 scoop of the daily fruit and vegetable greens blend
  • couple handfuls of ice

Method

  1. Slice peels off of the oranges and quarter.
  2. Slice dates in half and remove the pit.
  3. Add all ingredients to the blender ending with the ice.
  4. Process until smooth and creamy, adding more ice to make it thicker if desired. Pour into 3-4 glasses and enjoy!
