It’s that time of year again! Pruning season is in full swing.
Did you know it’s officially Spring?? This is the earliest the spring equinox has been in 124 years! And the flowers seem to know it!
January 31st can be bleak. The world is asleep and plants are still dormant for the season. After a gentle snowfall I ventured outside to capture some of the beauty that winter offers. It got me thinking about the importance of planning and planting for the winter months.

Nine years ago we had just moved into our home and were right in the middle of HUGE renovation projects. One of my new neighbors (Marie,l from Or so she says) stopped by for a visit and the yummiest sugar cookies I had ever tasted! It was a recipe I knew I needed to add to my collection.
A few weeks ago I visited Dibble Farms with my sister. We made fresh wreaths for the second year in a row, drank hot cocoa, and picked up a years supply of popcorn!
