Pretzel Turkeys


I love the Holidays! Something about having little ones in our home just makes them that much more enjoyable!

My daughter and I had fun creating these darling Pretzel Turkeys together after seeing them on my friend Kim’s instagram, for a fun holiday treat. How cute would these be as part of your place setting on Thanksgiving, or a fun craft to entertain the kids whilst dinner is cooking!?

Chunk Style Applesauce

When I was in high school I loved going through the Sunday papers recipe section. I’d clip and try any recipe that sounded tasty to me. This Chunk Style Applesauce came from the Sunday paper all those years ago. This recipe followed me into adulthood, through my college days, and is still a family favorite in my kitchen.


The original recipe is a crock-pot version. My sister tried this in her pressure cooker and sure enough it worked and cut the cooking time down dramatically!

Planting Bulbs 101


October and November is the perfect time to plant spring bulbs here in Northern Utah.  Planting now will ensure gorgeous blooms and beautiful spring color. If you are anything like me, color in the yard after a long bleak winter, is just what I need.

Planting bulbs is super easy and only requires and few steps.

You’ll need: Bulbs of choice, bone meal {As a slow-release fertilizer, bone meal is primarily used as a source of phosphorus and protein that helps bulbs build good strong roots all winter}, bulb auger, gloves.

Halloween Books



When my daughter was a tiny baby, I started collecting Halloween books every October to add to our Halloween collection.

Fast forward 10 years and we’ve got a nice little pile we pull out every October. I add at least one book every year, but this year we added about 8-10 from all the awesome suggestions you shared!
