Method
- Butter baking dish (I used 10 inch pie pan or 10 inch cast iron skillet)
- Mix 1 cup of sugar (saving the other 1/4 cup) + baking powder, salt & flour in bowl.
- Whisk in milk. Pour in melted butter and whisk well.
- Pour batter into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle blackberries evening over the top. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup sugar over the top.
- Bake 350 for 1 hour, or until bubbly & golden.
- Serve with cream or ice cream {or both!}
