KSL studio five asked me to come on and share three fun ideas with you. I wanted to put them all in one place so that you can easily find them to try at home along with links to everything. You can watch my TV segment here.

First up are these orange and cinnamon stick ornaments. Not only do they smell delicious, but they’re also incredibly simple to make, making them a perfect holiday craft for all ages. You could also dehydrate extra oranges to create garland for your tree or anywhere else in your home. This garland can be draped over mantels, used to brighten up doorways, or even wrapped around staircases for a charming look. Find all the info here, from the materials you need to step-by-step instructions, and watch a demo here to see how easy and enjoyable this project can be.

Next up are these fun grapevine and rosemary place card holders. They can be used as practical place card holders or to add festive decorations for your table. You could use a larger size to tie onto the backs of chairs. They Smell heavenly! I used rosemary, but you could experiment with juniper, spruce, pyracantha, or any other plants from your yard. Dried flowers from the flower field would also look stunning. Depending on your dinner theme and colors, feel free to switch things up. For detailed instructions and inspiration, you can find all the info here and watch the demo here.

Lastly, I shared these fun simmer pots, perfect for creating a warm atmosphere in your home during the festive season. They make wonderful gifts for neighbors, teachers, coaches, or girlfriends. The process is simple: just add aromatic ingredients to a saucepan, pour in some water, and your house will be filled with delightful scents of the holidays. I use food-safe containers to ensure that when you combine the ingredients, nothing melts out or soaks into the cardboard. You can prepare these gift pots ahead of time, making them convenient for last-minute gifting. Consider adding a cute tag with instructions, decorative ribbon, fresh greens, and a little bell for a finishing touch. If you’re curious about how to create your own simmer pots, you can find my post about it here and watch a demo here for a step-by-step guide.
If you end up with leftover cranberries from the simmer pots, I have a delicious recipe that I make nonstop between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. It’s so good and everyone asks for the recipe it will not disappoint.. fine it here.
